- Summary
- Greetings to his dear brother. Hopes Peter Jay has left Albany. No news to report from New York City. The family is in good health. A man from southern Long Island came in and reported seeing a ship manned by young men and battered by the winds, which he believed to be pirates. The "GNK" flour has not arrived, and there is little demand for the other flour. Advises Jay on buying more flour as long as he covers his costs. In French.
