- Despite the ringing of all the bells since the break of day the rumor that the Stamp Act has been repealed is mistaken, the truth is that a repealing bill passed the House of Commons in February, and was sent to House of Lords on March 3rd. Since his horse is well, he would like to have it by Monday night, in order to set out for Philadelphia the next day.
