Summary
Bonfield has informed Littlepage that he received a letter from Jay with
permission for Littlepage to remain some time longer in France. He has been unable to
study French intensively. He is going to reside at the country home of a gentleman,
where it will be easier to study French and acquire the proper
pronunciation.
