- Master Peter has departed, "one of his grandfathers will go home with a heavy heart" on account of his being gone. General Howe lately arrived at Brunswick and enemy reinforced with 3-4,000 men. They will probably make a bold push to "retrieve their late disgrace." Fears their force will be strong; they may move on Philadelphia. Assembly has taken as much time to frame a military bill as Alexander would have required to subdue Persia.
