Summary
Observations on intrigues of Governor Simcoe and other British agents on frontier. Simcoe's threats against Americans settling at Sodus. British attempts to stir up Indians against settlers. Furnishing Indians with ammunition, clothing, provisions and even men. Britain cannot hope to gain the confidence of the United States or share in the benefits of her trade unless and until she evacuates the forts and suspends such machinations in the West.
