- Summary
- Littlepage seems to have departed from good manners and courtesy. The state of the federal government is precarious and the Confederation is in need of repair. However, as wickedness rather than ignorance causes the present difficulty, it is difficult to say what may be the outcome if amendment is attempted. Regrets that America has come to this state, and hopes a solution is forthcoming.
