- Votes of Otsego, Tioga and Clinton Counties have been rejected, and the Clintonian canvassers have excluded Jay from the government. Jay's supporters on the canvassers, will publish a formal protest tomorrow; the people are determined not to let the matter pass without protest. If they submit to such a flagrant attack on their rights, Jay's supporters deserve to be slaves.
