- Summary
- Although Floridablanca denies it, he believes that the person which John Jay and he expected, has arrived, and lodges in Floridablanca's house and goes under the name Dolba. Estaing is in excellent spirits and has frequent visits with Floridablanca. Cumberland gives out that an English fleet under Admiral Geary is off the coast of Galicia, and a copy of the report is in the hands of the Imperial minister Austria. Has found a cure for his bilious attacks. Praises climate at St. Ildefonso-why doesn't John Jay bring Mrs. Jay here?
