- Summary
- Rall probably expects a bargain. You were right to postpone-delay might produce moderation. The Major will probably not finish his wall this year. Annoyed with procrastination and find it difficult to cede on this point. Surprised Mr. Constable has no news of the bills. Their fate leaves me doubtful but not desperate. Better to prepare for both events. Concerned about status of land that Jay hopes to buy. Travels next week to Exeter and then Providence.
