- Summary
- There should be no war between the Emperor and the Dutch. Impatient to know why the British posts have not been abandoned. Hope that peace with the African states is possible. Affairs are slowly settling into order. If Congress is given power to regulate trade and pay their debts, all will be well. The Empress of China has made a successful voyage, and many are preparing to enter that commerce. Thousands have already moved to the wilderness.
