Summary
Outlines plans for obstructing the Hudson River. Frames of timber with the ends shod with iron were to be thrown across the river near Fort Montgomery. Iron trucks were to be cast at the furnace in the Highlands. A letter was written to Washington informing him of these plans, and asking him to send artillery men to the Highlands. Another letter was written to Captain Hoffmann, asking him to send the thirty cannon previously ordered to the landing in Poughkeepsie. Various appointments naming commanders of several vessels were also made.
