Is not that selfish that he would wish for her company when her happiness might require a more intimate connection. Wishes to hear about the family. How is their son Peter Jay? Asks for details, especially about herself. Had expected a wedding letter from Judith Livingston; give her his congratulations. William Livingston is probably still musical? How is Susan? Asks for description of their retreat from Elizabeth. Has heard nothing from Fishkill.
