- Summary
- This is a copy, in partial deciphered cypher, of the letter evidently sent to Congress by Carmichael. It is basically the same as our #7527, with one important additional sentence in it. The sentence follows the statement in the last paragraph "so that the plan" and instead of "of our Friend Morris hath taken place" reads "spoken of hath taken place. They go in good time as the Dutch are at present much irritated against Great Britain." In second sentence following, word "home" should read "time."
