- Summary
- Mrs. Morris was happy to learn that the Jays have left Spain for France. Although she has not received a line from either of them, she has spoken to people who have seen the Jays. She was glad to hear of their rapid recoveries from indispositions suffered. If it were not for the impossibility of seeing Mrs. Jay and the possibility of preferring an assumed form to her own, Mrs. Morris thinks it might be fun to "occupy each others bodys to prevent any Derangement that might happen in our familys" in order that she might visit Paris and Sally might spend a few days in the United States. Kitty is with the Morrises, and looks much better since her recovery from an illness. Kitty has decided to spend the rest of the winter in New Jersey.
