- Summary
- Many considerations would make it agreeable for him to attend the meeting of the Board at Boston. His health has kept him from New York for the past four years. It is desirable that the mission printing office in India should be restored. The money should be remitted through the American Board for Foreign Missions as far as circumstances may admit. If we were at peace with England, it would be preferable to remit the money to the missionary society there, since mutual confidence and good will between societies for the same purpose should been couraged.
