- One page memorandum in Jay's hand on his treatment by Dr. Torbett in New York for a "Pimple between the left cheek bone & Nose" which he had had for several years. Treatment combines oral medication and poultices. After two weeks, whole side of face inflamed. Inflamation vanishes, and pimple "suppurates." Doctor then removes pea-sized pimple. Charges $100, but Jay gives him $125.
