- Draft. In nearly two years absence has received only two letters from brother Frederick and none from Sir James. Sally's family wrote them of the Jays being robbed at Fishkill and keep them otherwise well informed of the Jay family. Wonders if family has moved permanently to Poughkeepsie. Encloses letter (not present) from Peter Jay Munro. Another baby will arrive by next spring.
