- Summary
- At present it is impossible to obtain in England the arms wanted by the state of New York. King has previously purchased arms for the United States in Hamburgh, made on the English model though not as good. He will write to Mr. Pitcairn, the American consul in that city, to arrange for the manufacture of the New York order. Remittance should be made to Pitcairn directly because of the unfavorable exchange rates in England.
