Has received her letter requesting an introduction to his son in order to obtain legal advice on recovering her late husband's property in America. On showing this letter to Peter Augustus Jay, he will do whatever appears proper on the occasion. Also contains a note to his son asking him to seal and forward the above if no objections should occur to him. Advises him to obtain information on Mrs. Hewitt's history and character and to use circumspection, as she may or may not be a "worthy woman."
