Summary
Reports are that Connecticut will not acquiesce in decision of her dispute with Pennsylvania. This is received with welcome by those who oppose American union. Some of their friends think Order of Cincinnati will divide the Americans. While the King of France was asked to permit his officers to wear the badge of the society, a like compliment was not paid Congress.
