- Summary
- Has received Sinclair's account of the origin of the Board of Agriculture. Improvements in this area will doubtless become more and more rapid after the return of peace. Husbandry in the northern and middle states has made great advances within the past ten years. Also, farmers are becoming more attentive to the subject of manures. The planting of the Locust Tree, which furnishes durable timber, is increasing.
