Summary
The Evening Post & Herald has censured the refusal of Westchester electors to vote for Abraham Odell, nominated for the Assembly by the Peace Party. The reason for this refusal is therefore submitted to the readers. At a meeting of the Peace Party in White Plains, Odell was one of a committee appointed to promote certain resolutions. That committee called a general meeting to nominate a candidate for Congress; at that meeting R. V. Morris was chosen. Odell then violated faith by supporting Morris's opponent. Because of this he lost the support of many electors of the Peace Party.
