- Summary
- A proper history of the United States would develop the "great plan of Providence" in causing this extensive part of the world to be discovered and populated with civilized and Christian people. Interpositions of divine Providence are fine subjects, but should be accompanied by a distinct view of the objects and state of things to which they relate to give the reader cause for reflection. Is willing to assist the study but poor health forbids it at present.
