- Summary
- Still very concerned about Maria's health; Dr. Pomeroy's wife had the same complaint (too much salivation) and it left her very weak. He had a possible remedy of salt of tartar and vinegar and has told Dr. Stringer about it, who is stymied by Maria's condition and thinks it might be glandular. What does John Jay think about Maria taking a sail to Rhode Island and back, for the sea air? Nancy had a severe attack of headache but is now better. Mr. Clarke sends his regards.
