- Summary
- Has ordered a copy of the Act of February 18, 1789 showing John Jay's ownership of land in the township of Whiteborough. Peter Munro has not yet sent power of attorney so Banyer can receive dividends on John Jay's stock in the Great Western Turnpike Road. Suggests John Jay should pay his United States property tax, as per Congress's new act. Hopes to see John Jay up in Albany; there is lots of snow and excellent sleighing to be had.
