- Will have her examination next month. Hopes she will do well and not disappoint her parents. Her tutoress helps a great deal and she very much wants to improve her studies. Is glad Miss Temple is coming to visit over the summer but was sorry to hear Peggy Lynch was dead. Asks her mother to send linen for shifts and handkerchief borders, as hers are worn out.
