- Summary
- What is the basis of Strang's estates' claim that Jay owed Strang money. This matter should be through explored. Jay is displeased at John Lyon's removal of the house without first obtaining Jay's permission. This, coupled with the stoppage of work, has occasioned the enclosed letter, which Peter should deliver to Major Lyons and observe his reactions. If the work now proceeds, do not deliver the letter, but admonish Lyons about the house removal. Precisely how far had work progressed when Peter was last at Bedford
