United States--History--Revolution, 1775-1783; Jay, John, 1745-1829
Summary
Reminds Adams that he (Brown) and a Colonel Easton were subjects of a
Congressional order for trial and impeachment in 1776. Since that time, neither he nor
Easton have been brought to trial, but Easton has remained in the Continental pay. Brown
demands that either Easton be removed from the list of service officers or he (Brown) be
added to list of pensioners also.
