Summary
The depredations of the Indians necessitate arming men to defend the
state's frontiers. A thousand men have been drafted from the militia and are being sent
against the Niagara and Senecas. Please bring this to attention of Congress, request
their support, and have them make arrangement for charging these expenses to the
Continental funds.
