- Typescript of document 9824 Sends some nankeen cotton, growth of South Carolina. As a member of a South Carolina assembly committee to investigate an alleged expedition being raised in the state under the influence and with the support of Genet, he was instrumental in obtaining the arrest of several participants, one of whom was Stephen Drayton, his cousin. Several political leaders are involved, and the counsel in the malicious prosecution action against him, is none other than Alexander Moultrie, who was impeached from the office of Attorney General of the state.
