- Summary
- Fady is now settled in an apprenticeship to James Jay's cousin James de Peyster. Has written cousin Peloquin for his help in getting a clerkship for John who will have his degree in a year. An attorney in Bristol would be preferable to one in London because living is less expensive there than the Peloquins out there. After John is well acquainted with law practice, he could then spend a year or two at the Temple. James' uncle Chambers was ill of a "dead palsy," but is almost better, although his memory is affected.
