Summary
John Zabriski, 28 years old, resident at New Bridge in New Barbados Precinct, neither has nor has ever had any land in the province of New Jersey. He says that the persons named on the paper marked Exhibit C No. 42 are freeholders or inhabitants of Bergen County. All live northward of the line made by James Clinton and Anthony Dennis, except for Margaret Brinkerhoff. He is uncertain whether she lives north or south of the line. All persons mentioned in the said exhibit pay taxes to New Jersey, and have always trained in the New Jersey militia. Garret Hopper, who, Zabriski believes, lives the farthest northward, lives about five or six miles from the line. Signed, John Zabriski, Jr. In Jay's hand.
