Summary:
Is to go into the chancery business with Peter Munro for six months. Quotes from letter of Major Lyons about Major Holly and Enoch Mead, who is to be censured for his conduct and not enter Colonel DelawareÆs regiment. Nicholas Haight of Bedford to go in the room of Nathaniel Brown. Has heard from Cesar (Caesar), the black servant who had left him a year before. He had become a sailor bound for Cape Francaise but was impressed and is now a drummer in ToussaintÆs army in Saint Domingue. Wishes to return to Peter as he is very ill now.
