Summary:
The survey ordered by the Council of Proprietors on 28 February 1712 of two tracts of land on the Mahohkomack River belonging to Johannis Westphalia et al., determined that the larger tract, which was surveyed by John Chapman on 17 June 1717, contained 465 acres; and that the second tract, surveyed on 18 June 1717 contained 500 acres. On 12 August the surveys were inspected and approved by the Council of Proprietors and ordered to be recorded. From Lib. B, 178. Examined by Charles Pettit. Entered before the Commission to settle the boundary between New York and New Jersey 24 August 1769.
