- The surveyors have determined to the best of their ability the place on the northernmost branch of the Delaware River which is in the latitude of 41 degrees 40', and have marked an M on a large stone there. They include in their report a map of the area considered. From the Public Records of the Province of New Jersey, Book D, 2, p. 280. Certified by Bowes Reed and John Thomson. Entered before the Commission to settle the boundary between New York and New Jersey 2 August 1769.
