- Summary
- Maria returned from Rye with a cold which aggravated her usual complaints of acidity, headaches, and oppression. The bad weather prevents her from getting much outdoor exercise. John Jay reminds his son of the balance of principle and interest due on a bond from Thomas Eddy and Robert Bowne. A new bond should be drawn up for the balance due on the old one. Peter should bring or send a pound of best soda for Maria.
