- Appoint Joshua Mersereau, Jr., of Chenango as attorney to sell to best advantage eight lots of 150 acres each situated in a tract on the Chenengo River, granted to John Jay and John Rutherfurd, to enter into contracts with purchasers in their names, and to make arrangements for payment. The document bears a note in another hand indicating that "Jonathan Daylons deed to me is for one equell seventh part of the Section number twenty three...which Section contains in the whole six hundred and forty acres." Signed by John Jay, Peter Augustus Jay and Maria Jay.
