United States--History--Revolution, 1775-1783; Jay, John, 1745-1829
Summary
John Jay is unable to infer from Van Schaack's letter of 29 February that
Lord Amherst received his letter of 9 May 1815. John Jay sent off two copies of it on
separate vessels to Lord Amherst. "To remove any appearance of inattention" John Jay is
enclosing another copy of that letter.
