- Pleased by his grandson's recent letter and happy to hear of his recovery frm illness. "Remember Him by whose kind Providence your Life has been preserved and be thankful." Urges him to pursue his Latin studies. Glad to hear the boy is pleased with his situation at school. "You are under the Care of a Preceptor, whom I have heard much commended." The whole family looks foward to his visit "the ensuing Season." Regards from his aunt and uncle. "While you continue my Dr Boy to behave and do well, you may rely on the Love of your affte. Grandfather."
