- Summary
- Enclosed copy of Mr. Palmer's letter to Mr. Punderson, missionary funded by the congregation at Rye. Especially wishes to know Mr. Barclay's opinion with regard to Palmer's claim that Mr. Talbot is using his interest with Barclays' society to withdraw a salary from Rye, and that Dr. Johnson joins him in that. The people of Rye are willing to support Punderson or any other missionary without the aid of the Society. Disputes Palmer's claim about the letter sent to Barclay by the parishioners at Rye (see document 13123).
