- Summary
- Describes the movement of the army against Congress in Philadelphia. The Congressmen finally allowed to leave unmolested when General St. Clair got the soldiers to return to their barracks. No aid received from militia of Pennsylvania. The Congress wants to go to Princeton to meet but must be able to rely on the protection of New Jersey militia.
