- During the first session, Ramos Díaz describes his upbringing in Camuy, where entertainment was communal with a neighborhood television and radio novellas. He recounts stories of his siblings, his elementary to high school education in rustic and basic facilities, and meeting his future wife during high school. He documents his transition from various jobs in the food service industry to becoming a correctional officer and eventually joining the police force in Puerto Rico. In the second session, Ramos Díaz delves into his career with the Puerto Rico Police, providing details on his roles, responsibilities, and experiences spanning over two decades. He reflects on his promotion path, the challenges of maintaining order, especially in tense situations such as the aftermath of Hurricane María, and the importance of fair and compassionate leadership. Ramos Díaz also shares personal stories from his work in various divisions, including encounters with inmates and the complexities of undercover operations.
