En la primera sesión, López Soto describe su crianza en un barrio llamado Camaseyes, su temprana salida de la escuela después del séptimo grado para trabajar debido a la necesidad financiera, y su carrera como trabajador de la construcción. López Soto relata su angustiosa experiencia durante el huracán María, viéndose obligado a evacuar su casa, permaneciendo en un refugio mal equipado y haciendo frente a la adversidad causada por la tormenta. Ramón López Soto was born in February 2, 1942 in Aguadilla, a municipality in the northwest of Puerto Rico. He completed education up to seventh grade. He worked as a builder. When he retired, he lived in Edificio Víctor Hernández, a four-story co ncrete apartment building for seniors. He had three children. He suffered from partial blindness due to glaucoma, which he attributes to his work in construction
Ramón López Soto nació el 2 de febrero de 1942 en Aguadilla, municipio del noroeste. Cursó estudios hasta séptimo grado. Trabajó como albañil. Cuando se jubiló, vivía en el Edificio Víctor Hernández, un edificio de apartamentos de hormigón de cuatro plantas para personas mayores. Tuvo tres hijos. Sufría de ceguera parcial por glaucoma, que atribuye a su trabajo en la construcción.
