- Abstract
- Isabel Grossner dictates administrative notes about the Spencer Foundation oral history project to an assistant. Grossner offers thoughts on what kinds of questions to ask during project interviews. They discuss how narrators were connected to Lyle Spencer and the Spencer Foundation as well as why certain interviewees were asked to participate. There is also discussion of oral history project metho ds, including Grossner's thoughts on how to approach prospective participants and how to respond when people are disinclined to be interviewed. Grossner explains the meaning behind assorted paperwork on file for the collection including lists of further possible interviewees, letters of refusal, and annual reports she had sent on the status of the project.
