Abstract
Oral history interview with Lama Tenzin Woeser (a.k.a. Bla ma Bstan 'dzin 'od zer, Lama Tenzin Oser) regarding campaigns of the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army in Amdo, particularly among the Tragya tribe (tsho ba) and public killings; also earlier activity during the Nationalist Period and by Ma Bufang. In 1959, the interviewee was in Lhasa and witnessed events at Norbulingka, the arming of monks at Drepung, etc.

Note (Biographical)
Bla ma Bstan 'dzin 'od zer was born circa 1937 in Qinghai or the Tibetan region of Amdo. At the age of 7 years old, he became a monk at Zangdro Tsangdrok Monastery. In 1959, he was in Lhasa, and shortly after escaped to India, including time in Buxar.
