- According to the June 1, 1950 issue of the newspaper Yul phyogs so so'i gsar 'gyur me long = The Tibet Mirror, the Tibetan language records and text books were first published in 1950 and distributed through the Tibet Mirror Press in Kalimpong, India. "The records are prepared by the Govt. of Inda and the text books by Sir, B. J. Gould, C.M.G., C. I. E. the former Political Officer in Sikkim & Mr. H. E. Richardson, O. B. E, I C. S. the present Officer Incharge of Indian Mission Lhasa, Tibet." - page 4. Given the reference to "the late Basil Gould" who died on December 27, 1956, the edition in hand is a reprint manufactured in 1957 or later.
