- Abstract: The first pencil draft and the final version of Andrew's first deed of gift to the Corporation. During 1911 and 1912, Carnegie gave the Corporation $125 million in three separate gifts, making it the largest single philanthropic trust ever established up to that time.

- Abstract: Greenwich House was founded in 1902 as a settlement house to help New York's increasing immigrant population adjust to life in a new country. In the Carnegie Corporation records, the files of grant-related correspondence with settlement houses provide a wealth of information on life in immigrant communities (predominantly Eastern European or Italian) and on the settlement house activities within these communities.

Nicholas Murray Butler was the most vocal proponent of turning it into a permanent home for all the New York-based philanthropic organizations connected to Andrew Carnegie. - Abstract: This exchange of telegrams between Frederick Keppel and Robert Franks documents the rumors about impending demolition of the Carnegie Music Hall. In fact, the Corporation owned it for 30 days after the settlement of the Carnegie estate, and then sold it to the buyer, who assured them that the Hall would continue to function as a music center.

Rockefeller updates Carnegie Corporation President Alan Pifer on the progress of the project. In 1969 the Julliard School moved into the new building from its earlier location on Claremont Avenue at 120th Street in Morningside Heights.
