- "The Movies: Art or Industry" is an episode of the "Memoirs of the Movies" series, produced by Group W of the Westinghouse Broadcasting Company in collaboration with Columbia University's Oral History Research Office. In this episode, film makers and actors discuss the elements that make a successful motion picture. The episode is hosted by Arthur Mayer and features the recollections of Rouben Mamo ulian, King Vidor, Joseph L. Mankiewicz, Edward Dmytryk, Jean Negulesco, Myrna Loy, Henry Fonda, Ben Hecht, Samuel Spewack, and Leo Rosten
