- This is a recording of Jonas Zweig reading a life history of Jacob Roemer (1883-1967), written by Milton I. Roemer. Zweig collected and recorded the story as a part of his larger oral history project on the history of Paterson, New Jersey. Roemer was born in Galicia, Austria-Hungary. He spent many years as a physician in Paterson, New Jersey
