Abstract
"The Film Factories" is an episode of the "Memoirs of the Movies" series, produced by Group W of the Westinghouse Broadcasting Company in collaboration with Columbia University's Oral History Research Office. The theme of this episode is the architecture and culture of the Hollywood studios. The episode is hosted by Franchot Tone and features the recollections of Henry Fonda, Basil Rathbone, Bonita Granville, Jerry Wald, Aline MacMahon, Roddy McDowell, Otto Preminger, Joseph L. Mankiewicz, George Seaton, Marc Connelly, Anita Loos, Ben Hecht, Leo Rosten, and Henry Myers
